QUERENCIA:  We believe in the rootedness of our culture in place – in our lands that have been tended by our ancestors and elders; kept vital with the waters of our rivers, streams and acequias; and in the food and foodways that have grown out of this land and brought strength to our bodies, families, community and cultures for generations.

SOCIAL JUSTICE:  We are dedicated to being an organization rooted in justice and equity within our community – in identifying and addressing underlying structures and root causes of inequity in access to land; access to economic, technical, informational and infrastructural resources; and in access to policy, planning and economic development conversations.

REGENERATIVE LAND STEWARDSHIP:  We are dedicated to supporting methods of land stewardship that support healthy soils, carbon sequestration, a healthy water cycle, vital wildlife habitat, and nutrient dense food.
